There's a fountain drained in our darkest depths
There's water sometimes flowing in the trench
I had once the guts to glance at the surface
but I did not even recognize myself
All the words we say, all the promises we make
are but a pointless try, foreshadowing decay
All the endless struggle, all the roles that we play
are just a fraud, an overflown decay

My favorite punk from the last 25 years. As if Peni, Adolescents, TSOL, (early) Christian Death and most of 1981 Southern California got pureed in a blender and poured into a straightjacket. Fantastic stuff that'll grow on you.. malarialeague
If you've still got a gas station jacket hanging in your closet, you may love the '90s Olympia punk churn of Soggy Creep. Bandcamp Album of the Day Feb 10, 2017

Can’t believe I’ve been sleeping on this. Chain Cult manages to pull off this exquisite fusion of melody, emotion, and aggression that calls to mind the earlier releases of Hüsker Dü. Easily one of my new favorites to come out of today’s dark post-punk scene. Eric Clay
